WEEKLY PRAYER

Lord, grant me the courage to change the parameters and paradigm of my life. Bless me with discernment that I may know those things I can change and those things I cannot change. Help me to look beyond age and physical health. Grant me imagination that I might envision what does not exist. Where my goals are limited, grant me vision. When I am depressed, grant me hope. Where I am lonely, give me meaningful companionship. Even when the way forward seems cloudy and uncertain, grant me your peace that passes all understanding. Help me to see myself: not as I am, but what I can be; not for what I was, but what I choose to be; not for what others want me to be, but what it is you want me to be.

Bless me now with the power to redefine the parameters and paradigm of my life. Make me patient. Make me kind. Make me powerful. Make me gentle. Make me loving. Through Jesus Christ our Lord we pray.
