2017 NOMINATIONS FOR CHURCH OFFICERS

One of the most significant contributions you can make to the church is your intellect and time as a church officer.  Nominate yourself or someone else to serve the church as an officer.

All church officers are elected by members of the congregation.

The election of officers will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2017 at 11 AM during the Annual Church Meeting.  To nominate someone, fill out the form found in Sunday’s church bulletin and place in the offering plate.  All nominations for church office must be received by Sunday, October 15, 2017.

No Cooking Sunday!

September 17, 2017 (after both services)

The Sunday School is cooking for you on Sunday, September 17!  Meals are $10.00 each.

• Each meal includes chicken wings, a vegetable, starch, dinner roll, beverage and dessert.
• Meals will be ready for pick-up after the service you select.

2017 Youth Missions Charity Golf Outing – Plymouth United Church of Christ

Farmington Hills Golf Club – 37777 W. 11 Mile Ct. Farmington Hills, MI 

7 a.m. registration/8 a.m. Shotgun start

Annual Youth Mission Charity Golf Outing.  Refreshments (light lunch AND reception dinner), prizes and gifts!

All golfers (beginners too!) please plan to join us for food, fun and fellowship.  Because proceeds will go to our Youth Mission, sponsors and donors are strongly encourage to support this event.

There is also a golf practice/instruction outing in June at a local driving range.  This will give golfers (beginner too) a chance to “warm up” before the August event.  Further details to follow.

RAIN CANCELLATION:  Call the Farmington Hills  Golf Club (248-476-5910) if it rains the night before or in the morning of and ask if the event is cancelled.   No credits/rain checks for golf fees issued due to wet conditions, unless the Farmington Hills Golf Club officially closes the course.
