The 10 Commandments of Marriage – October 29, 2017

 

In 1970, Rev. Dr. Nicholas Hood, Sr. wrote a document entitled The 10 Commandments of Marriage. On Sunday, October 29, at 1 p.m. on the Lower Level of the church, all married and engaged couples are invited to review the thoughts of our deceased Pastor on marriage. Rev. Nicholas Hood III will lead this event.

A light meal will be served and childcare will be provided. The cost is $6.00 per person.  For more information, contact the church office, 313-831-2460

2017 NOMINATIONS FOR CHURCH OFFICERS

One of the most significant contributions you can make to the church is your intellect and time as a church officer.  Nominate yourself or someone else to serve the church as an officer.

All church officers are elected by members of the congregation.

The election of officers will take place on Sunday, November 20, 2017 at 11 AM during the Annual Church Meeting.  To nominate someone, fill out the form found in Sunday’s church bulletin and place in the offering plate.  All nominations for church office must be received by Sunday, October 15, 2017.
