Plymouth Educational Center Volunteers

Volunteers needed to work with the students at the Plymouth Educational Center. Help them improve their academic achievements!
Ways to help:

• Read a short book or portion of a book to a class of students
• One on one mentoring of a student (in class)
• Tutor a student in:
  o  Math
  o  Science
  o  Language Arts

Drivers – Transportation Ministry

26th Annual Inter-Faith Rotating Shelter Program

The Inter-Faith Hospitality Ministry is sponsoring The Inter-Faith Homeless Rotating Shelter Program.  The program begins Saturday, February 16, 2019 – Saturday, February 23, 2019. 

All members are encouraged to actively participate in our program this year as in past years.

A few good men to serve as church monitors to stay from 8-10p.m. each night to assist with closing down the church.

The program is in need of urgent donations of items for our guests.  See list below:

Hygiene Kits-

• 100 Travel Size Kleenex
• 3 large bottles of hand sanitizer
• 52 Wash cloths
• Depends undergarments for Adults
• New Warm Winter Hats and Gloves (Men & Women Adult sizes)

Cases of:

• Ramen Noodles
• Lemonade Concentrate
• Individual bags of potato chips, pretzels & Cheezits
• Canned pop & water
• Gallons of juice (orange, apple and cranberry) for breakfast

Other:

• Gently used luggage, preferably on wheels for easy transporting
• Large trash bags

Financial contributions are also accepted.

The Black & Ivy College Tour 2017 preparations are underway.

The tour dates are April 4-9, 2017

The itinerary includes:

• Howard University
• Georgetown University
• Princeton University
• Columbia University
• Yale University
• Lincoln University and
• University of Pennsylvania.
